About IQFasting
IQFasting is a calm, honest fasting companion. It explains what's happening at every hour — from the gentle daily reset of 12:12 to deeper protocols like 16:8, OMAD, and Francisco's quarterly 80h+48h cycle. It pairs a research-backed timeline with an interactive checklist, four live charts, and a tracking view that lets you compare your fasts cycle-over-cycle and year-over-year.
Local-first by design
IQFasting runs entirely in your browser. There is no account to create, no email to verify, no record of your fast on a server somewhere. Closing the tab and reopening it later picks up where you left off. You can install it to your home screen and use it offline. When you want a copy of your data, you export it to a JSON file you control.
That choice is deliberate. A timer that knows when you didn't eat for 96 hours is sensitive data. The simplest way to keep it private is to never collect it in the first place. If we ever add optional cloud sync — for cross-device use — it will be exactly that: optional, opt-in, and clearly explained before any byte leaves your device.
Not medical advice
IQFasting shares general wellness information only. It is not a doctor, dietitian, or medical service. For anything beyond casual intermittent fasting — and certainly for fasts past 24 hours — please work with a qualified professional. Conditions that warrant medical sign-off include diabetes, hypertension on medication, thyroid disease, kidney or liver disease, gallstones, an eating-disorder history, pregnancy or breastfeeding.
